The 767 soars across a long arc of airliner history. The “seven-six” stands out for its versatile widebody design and impressive range, making it a popular choice for passenger and cargo operations on both domestic and international routes. Introduced in 1982, it continues in production more than 40 years later. It was the first widebody jet with a glass cockpit; fly-by-wire systems; and a two-pilot configuration. Most impressive, perhaps, are the blended winglets fitted to many of the 767s operating today - measuring up at 11 feet, they are the tallest on any airplane in the skies!
